动力单元总成的优势

上海，2007年4月—越来越短的研发时间，同步增高的开发成本，日益精简的组织机构，所有这些，都使得研发新举措成为绝对必须的选择。目前，研发努力的焦点已经不是单个元件，取而代之的，是一个完整的系统。将活塞，活塞销，活塞环，缸套，连杆以及轴瓦等全部拼装组合，构成一个动力单元总成（PCU）。

动力单元总成在开发过程中减少了接口的数量，进而也减少了协调它们的成本。其结果是在生产过程中大大提高了效率并能使工序连接更加紧密。对于客户而言，可以从中获取的其他显著好处还包括，减少了开发环节和开发时间，以及因此节省了开发成本。

在初期阶段，即通过综合仿真开发出了主驱动程序，这是使用有限元分析所获得的数据来完成的。如：从活塞和缸套获取的数据结合到活塞环仿真中。这样在发动机投入实际使用前，就能优化工作参数，比如机油耗和窜气量等。这些计算工具远优于传统的强度研究。对于后续的发动机测，就必须验证测试数据与数值仿真结果的关联。

马勒的同步工程技术促进了系统零部件的机能和接口的优化。考虑到将来可能出现的废气排放标准（机油耗要求低于每千瓦小时0.1克），这一系统的解决方案是成功的关键。只有在了解单个PCU零部件之间的相互作用的基础上，投入足够的时间以及合理的成本，才可能达到低机油耗、低窜气量的目标。正如我们例举的活塞环与环槽几何形状之间的相互作用关系。
