Milliken Chemical to Exhibit at K-Show

Milliken Chemical, a division of Milliken & Company, will be exhibiting at K-Show 2004, the world’s number one trade fair for plastics and rubber, October 20-27 in Düsseldorf, Germany in Hall 5, Stand F27.

A global leader in developing innovative polymer additive technologies, Milliken’s array of products will include Millad® 3988 clarifying agent for polypropylene, Hyperform® nucleating agents for polypropylene, ClearTint® polymer colorants for polypropylene, ClearShield® UV absorber for PET, and AlphaSan® antimicrobial agent.

Commercial examples of products containing these additives and advances from Milliken in two-step injection stretch blow molded polypropylene, extrusion compressed molded polypropylene closures, and linear low density polyethylene will be highlights of this years’ exhibit.

In addition, Milliken will be introducing a high strength, glass-free polypropylene thermoplastic composite for use in thermoforming processes. This material provides previously unobtainable levels of impact resistance for this class of composites, coupled with high stiffness, low weight and recyclability. Typical applications are in automotive, truck and trailer, and outdoor recreation markets.
