MOOG DEVELOPS NON-LETHAL GRENADE LAUNCHER FOR RAPID DEPLOYMENT
East Aurora, NY, USA, June 11, 2012 – Moog Space and Defense Group, part of Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B), is debuting and demonstrating its new EAGLS (Electrically Articulated Grenade Launcher System) non-lethal grenade launcher at Eurosatory 2012. This unit has been developed to support the military’s need for rapidly deployable, escalation of force, mission ready equipment. The applique system gives troops the ability to accurately target and disperse a crowd without using lethal force.

MOOG WINS CONTRACT TO SUPPLY NAREC WITH A TEST SYSTEM TO EVALUATE 100 M WIND TURBINE BLADES

MOOG HYDRAULIC SIMULATION TABLE ALLOWS EXOVA TO ACHIEVE MORE REALISTIC AUTOMOTIVE TESTING
East Aurora, NY, USA, 31 January 2012 – Moog, a leader in high performance systems and products for automotive and aerospace testing, has designed and manufactured a Hydraulic Simulation Table based on the company’s latest line of Hydraulic Test Actuators. This offers more capability than a conventional orthogonal system, which is a table moved by actuators mounted on its base and sides. The Moog Hydraulic Simulation Table is a six-legged hexapod with two equilateral triangular frames set one above the other, offset at 30 degrees. Each apex of the top triangle is connected to the two apexes below it via Moog Hydraulic Test Actuators with Hydrostatic Bearings.
