Fakuma 2011
At the forthcoming Fakuma (18-22 October 2011), Nexeo Solutions will formally present itself at a major European trade show. The new independent company will set out to connect customers and suppliers of chemicals, plastics, composites and environmental services. With operations across North America, Europe and Asia, Nexeo Solutions aspires to be the global leader in the industry.
The company, which was formed from the distribution division of Ashland Inc. earlier this year, has an extensive global infrastructure, experienced team and efficient logistic network enabling customers to connect to the opportunities of the markets.
According to CEO David Bradley, the company will focus exclusively on distribution and will be using service as a differentiator: “Our goal is to be the preferred global distribution partner for suppliers and customers worldwide. To achieve that goal, we will do more than just deliver great products from the most trusted producers in the world. Building on our existing reputation for excellence and history of strong performance, we want to add value through product customization, technical expertise, best-in-class logistics support and a continued commitment to safety and compliance.”
At Fakuma, visitors to stand number 3217 (hall 3), will be able to meet key personnel of Nexeo Solutions’ operations in Europe, where the company already is one of the largest stocking distributors of prime thermoplastic resins from industry-leading suppliers. The company’s product portfolio encompasses materials for all prime processes, including injection molding, blow molding, extrusion and rotational molding. Nexeo Solutions offers a broad product offering complemented with the ability to provide technical support to aid in design assistance and process optimization. Industry-specific support includes a dedicated automotive team.
Nexeo Solutions was launched earlier this year after the former Ashland Distribution business was acquired by global private equity firm TPG Capital. David Bradley concludes: “Nexeo Solutions will dedicate 100% of its time, energy, talents, and resources toward improving and expanding its service offering.”
