收購式瑪卡龍後 PPG加強建築塗料品牌整合
自2008年1月成功收購全球著名塗料生產商式瑪卡龍集團之後， PPG工業公司在中國區擁有了大師漆、長春藤漆、申紐麗塗料三大建築塗料品牌。日前公司表示將加大力度整合三大品牌資源，以鞏固PPG在中國建築塗料市場的地位。

PPG將出售汽車玻璃業務控股權給Kohlberg & Company公司
美國匹茲堡- PPG工業公司（紐約證交所代碼：PPG）已經與位於美國紐約州Mount Kisco的私人股權投資公司Kohlberg & Company, LLC旗下管理的一支基金簽署協定，將其汽車玻璃業務出售給Kohlberg新成立的一家公司。

PPG launches paint-sale donation program to support China earthquake recovery
BEIJING, May 19, 2008 – Two days after announcing its donation of RMB 500,000 to the Red Cross Society of China for earthquake recovery efforts, PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) has announced that for each can of Master’s Mark Paint, IVY paint and Seigneurie paint sold in May and June in China, the company will donate RMB 1 Yuan to aid in recovery efforts in the disaster area. All donations from this sales program will go to the Red Cross Society of China.

PPG marine coatings first to be approved under IMO performance standard
PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) protective and marine coatings (PMC) business recently announced that SigmaPrime 700 and SigmaPrime 700 LT coatings will be applied to a vessel being built in Korea for Chandris Hellas that will be the first built in full compliance with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) ballast tank coatings regulation titled Performance Standard for Protective Coatings (PSPC).

PFG Fiber Glass starts third furnace in China
SHANGHAI, China, May 6, 2008 – PPG Industries’ (NYSE:PPG) announced it started a third furnace May 2 at the PFG Fiber Glass (Kunshan) Co. Ltd. operation in Kunshan it jointly owns with Nan Ya Plastics Corp. (TAIEX: Nan Ya). The additional furnace, with 38,000 metric tons of annual capacity, will serve the expanding Asian electronics industries and achieve full production in the coming months.
