Rapid exhibits at Chinaplas, enhancing its market presence in China

Shanghai,China (12th April, 2007) — One of the world’s leading suppliers of granulators for the plastics and recycling industries-- Rapid Granulator AB today announces its participation at Chinaplas 2007 which will be held from May 21st to 24th in Guangzhou, China. The 300, 400, 500 series granulator will be showcased at booth 1D441.

The 300, 400 and 500 series granulator are the ”Next Generation” systems with the open hearted design that drastically simplify the service and cleaning process. Further the new Super Tangential (Super T) cutter house option is available on the 300, 400 and 500 Series, which is especially designed for regrinding light weight injection and blow moulded components and containers, ensuring that these voluminous parts are gripped and cut by the machine, without bouncing on the rotor.

Since Rapid established its first sales office in China in 2002, it keeps enhancing its commitment to this fast growing market. The company just built its new manufacturing center in Shanghai, increased the size significantly by 5 times. Recently, Rapid also appointed its new Asia General Manager Kenneth Gustafsson. He will be based in Shanghai, leading the Rapid Asia team to provide a high level of service to customers; reduction in lead time, enhanced flexibility and customization. “It is exciting for me of being here, China and the whole Asia is definitely an important market for Rapid,” said Mr. Kenneth Gustafsson, “ we are ambitious here, aiming to generate 100% growth rate within 2 years. In 5 years, we also hope to achieve the same turnover in Asia as in Europe.”
