Rapid Granulator AB opens Italian sales office

Since 1 October 2002 Rapid Granulator AB has strengthened its presence in the Italian market with opening of Rapid S.r.l. in the Venice area. This new subsidiary is run by Mr. Fabio Bello, who has a long experience in the plastics machinery market. The Italian office is Rapids fifth subsidiary. In addition to its Swedish headquarters the company has sales offices in Osaka, Japan; Rockford, Illinois, USA; Paris, France; and Kleinostheim, Germany.

“For Rapid this is a long term investment in the second largest market in Europe,“ says Johan Magnusson, Sales and Marketing Director Rapid Granulator AB. “The new Venice office assures that we come closer to our Italian customers and can provide even better support and after sales services. The Italian subsidiary is another step in our strategy to be present in all the major European markets and to adopt our service to the customers’ local needs.”

Apart from the new sales office Rapid is working hard to establish its own distribution network in Italy. Four companies have already signed up to represent Rapid in the country, with more companies to follow in the near future.

We welcome Fabio Bello as our new Sales Manager in Italy together with our four new Italian agents.” Italian processors are invited to meet with Fabio when Rapid presents its complete product range of granulators, shredders and other auxiliary equipment for the recycling of plastics at Plast 2003, that will be held from 6 to 10 May at the Fiera Milano.
