Jürgen Prößler appointed European sales manager at Rapid Granulator

Bredaryd, Sweden - Rapid Granulator AB, one of the world’s leading suppliers of granulators for the plastics and recycling industries, has appointed Jürgen Prößler as its European sales manager with effect from September 1st, 2007.

“We are delighted that Jürgen Prößler has accepted this new challenge,” said Rolf Gren, CEO of Rapid Granulator AB. ‘His experience of managing relationships with dealer and distributor networks, as well as a deep knowledge of plastic machinery and application management, will be quite helpful for our entry into new markets and industry segments.”

Jürgen Prößler (46) is a graduate in mechanical engineering and started his career working as a designer for product development in the automotive industry. He joined Rapid Granulier-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG in Kleinostheim, Germany, as an area sales manager in 1994. Nine years later he was promoted to the position of sales manager, with responsibility for Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.

Commenting on his new role at Rapid Granulators, Jürgen Prößler said: “Being responsible for sales across Europe is very exciting. I’m looking forward to further our plastic recycling business and develop new markets.”

Mr. Prößler is based at Rapid’s new European sales office in Kleinostheim, near Frankfurt, Germany, where the company also has its new global customer test centre.
