Big, overseas companies are signing up for Interplas
Interplas 2002 is maintaining the tradition of its recent predecessors in the Interplas series of events as a truly international exhibition.
A whole raft of European and international companies have now signed up for Interplas 2002, fully justifying the event as the largest plastics and rubber exhibition to be held anywhere in the world next year. Reed Exhibition Companies, the organiser of Interplas 2002, says interest in the show remains at a high level.
Major materials and additives suppliers to have confirmed their commitment to Interplas 2002 include Chevron Phillips Chemicals, DuPont, Solvay, Barlocher, Victrex, Atofina, Ferro and LATI Industria Termoplastici.
The support from machinery manufacturers is even more comprehensive. In injection moulding there’s Engel, Stork Plastics Machinery, Netstal, Sandretto, Krauss-Maffei, Demag Ergotech, Husky, Arburg, MIR and Toshiba. Extrusion has Davis Standard, Milacron, Berstorff, Reifenhauser and Greiner Extrusionstechnik.
The representation is definitely global all across the board. There’s Magic, Macchi and OMIPA from Italy, for example; Herbold, Gunter Kunststoffmaschinen and Bielomatik Leuze from Germany; top international toolmakers such as Ryka Blow Molds, Schottli and Legazpi Moldes Portugal; robotics specialists like Wittmann and Star Automation.
Yes, Interplas 2002 will be the only plastics and rubber exhibition next year that really has an international line-up of exhibitors. And visitor representation is set to follow that lead. Interplas 1999 had representatives from 87 countries - and 92% of them said they intended to visit the 2002 event.
Interplas 2002 takes place at the NEC, Birmingham from 30 September - 4 October 2002. The exhibition’s web site, at www.interplas-expo.co.uk, has comprehensive details of all exhibiting companies and floor plans for the show’s four halls, 3, 3A, 4 and 5. The site will be regularly updated with increasing volumes of information as the build-up to the show increases.
Interplas organiser, Reed Exhibition Companies, has its headquarters in the UK and is a leading international trade show producer. It has a broad portfolio of 443 events, to serve 49 industries, across 29 countries worldwide. A global network of offices supports its Interplas exhibition promotion programme.
