Appointment-setting service for Interplas 2002 will ensure visitors get maximum value from their time at the exhibition
Visitors to Interplas 2002, this year’s largest international plastics and rubber exhibition, are being provided with a special opportunity to maximise the effectiveness of the time they spend at the show by booking appointments with exhibitors in advance via the Interplas web site. The appointment-setting service will be live from the 19th of August.
No longer will visitors wishing to talk with specific companies need to move from stand to stand hoping suitable personnel will be available for discussion when they get there. Instead, they will have made a definite time for an appointment and will meet with a designated company employee for a business-to-business meeting at that time.
The service will be available to all visiting companies and all exhibitors are expected to participate, although it is not mandatory. Not only will the appointment system eliminate time-wasting delays, it will also enhance the quality and value of individual visits to the exhibition.
“The appointment-setting system exemplifies further the business-to-business format of Interplas 2002,” says exhibition director Justin Tadman.
“It will help to ensure that visitors obtain the best possible value from time spent at the exhibition and is another example of how Reed Exhibitions is committed to delivering an exhibition that meets the exacting demands of both visitors and exhibitors.”
The appointment-setting service is being operated through the Interplas website: www.interplas-expo.co.uk. Visitors are able to identify which exhibiting companies are of interest to them by using the site’s product locator function. They then indicate which day(s) they will attend Interplas 2002 and request meetings, as appropriate.
Appointments will be scheduled automatically and diaries subsequently posted on the website. They will be updated every two weeks as new requests are processed.
The appointment-setting system will be closed approximately one week before the exhibition opens and final diaries posted at that time.
