Last minute rush for space at Interplas 2002 continues
Over 800 exhibitors are expected when the doors of Interplas 2002 open on 30 September, confirming the show’s status as one of the largest international plastics and rubber exhibitions to be held this year.
Interplas 2002 is being staged in Halls 3, 3A, 4 and 5 of the NEC, Birmingham over the five days of 30 September - 4 October. Space for the event is 97% sold (as at 31 July 2002) with confirmed bookings from 758 exhibitors. The exhibitors are drawn from 25 countries and represent the world’s leading manufacturers of polymer processing machinery, ancillary equipment and raw materials.
“We are continuing to receive enquiries from companies in the UK and from overseas that are interested in exhibiting at Interplas 2002 ,” says exhibition director Justin Tadman. “I am confident all available stand space will be sold by the time the exhibition opens.”
And the response to the exhibition from visitors is just as impressive. The number of pre-registered visitors is increasing daily and, at 31 July, totalled 2,794. This compared with just 47 who had pre-registered at the same stage for Interplas 1999, an event for which the total audience exceeded 30,000.
Concurrent with Interplas 2002, Reed Exhibitions is organising the Nepcon 2002, the UK's leading electronics manufacturing exhibition in Hall 1 of the NEC for the three days of 1-3 October. Registered visitors may pass freely between the shows.
