Interplas a key trade show for polymers in the medical industry

One of the world’s leading manufacturing events, Interplas 2002, is being staged at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, from 30 September to 4 October. This important industrial show will include a focus on polymer and application developments for the medical device industry.

Continuously driven by technological progress, the diversity of polymers and the breadth of their performance capabilities, combine to offer engineering solutions that meet the most stringent criteria for medical applications. Polymers developed specifically for the medical sector will feature in Interplas 2002 presentations.

The strength, light weight, sterilisability and inherent purity of specific polymers have given them a direct fit in applications ranging from blood bags to endoscopy tubing, and from surgical instruments to critical in vivo implants.

Visitors to Interplas will have access to specialist materials suppliers, design and manufacturing specialists, equipment suppliers and processors all with experience of the medical industry’s stringent requirements.
