Technyl® A 238P5 M25 is a new polyamide grade specifically designed to address vertical body panel needs. This material is electro-paintable, withstands the e-coat temperature up to 200°C and meets all critical application requirements in impact, surface appearance and processability.

Rhodia Polyamide Announces Price Increases for Polyamide 6 and 66 Resins and Compounds
St. Fons, France, March 22, 2004 – Rhodia Polyamide announced price increases of € 130 per metric ton for PA 66 base resins in Europe. At the same time, prices of Rhodia’s Technyl® polyamide 6 and 66 compounds will be increased by € 200 per metric ton in that region. These increases are effective as of March 29th, 2004.

Rhodia Engineering Plastics receives Business-of-the-Year Award from Michigan Chapter of French-American Chamber of Commerce
Farmington Hills, Michigan, Oct. 1, 2003 – Rhodia Engineering Plastics was named as a 2003 co-recipient, along with Daimler-Chrysler Corporation, of the Business of the Year Award, presented annually since 1996 by the Michigan Chapter of the French-American Chamber of Commerce. Rhodia Engineering Plastics President Jean-Claude Steinmetz accepted the award in a ceremony held this evening at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Dearborn, Michigan. Bosch concentrates on Technyl® for oil separators
Freiburg, Germany, June 25, 2003 – System supplier Bosch Waiblingen Kunststofftechnik, in collaboration with Rhodia Engineering Plastics’ Application Development Centre Automotive in Freiburg, has developed housings and other elements manufactured using Technyl® reinforced polyamide for two new oil separator concepts for diesel engines. DaimlerChrysler is currently considering using the stand-alone solution of this oil separator with three hose connections for its A-Class diesel models.
