Trexel Inc. and Rhodia Polyamide Announce Global Co-Marketing and Development Agreement; Rhodia Will Introduce New TECHNYL® XCell 6.6 and 6 Polyamide Grades Optimized for Trexel’s MuCell® Process
Chicago, Illinois, June 19, 2006 – Officials from Trexel Inc. and Rhodia Polyamide today announced that they are working in partnership through an arrangement that involves the establishment of an exclusive multi-year global co-marketing agreement, where Rhodia will actively develop and commercialize new material technology optimized for the MuCell® process, and where Trexel will work with Rhodia for polyamide applications.

Rhodia Polyamide Announces Introduction of New TECHNYL® XCell 6.6 and 6 Polyamide Grades Optimized for Use with Trexel’s MuCell® Process
Chicago, Illinois, June 19, 2006 – Officials from Rhodia Polyamide’s Engineering Plastics Business Unit present at NPE 2006 today announced the introduction of new TECHNYL® XCell 6.6 and 6 polyamide grades optimized for use with Trexel’s MuCell® process. These new grades are the first technology deliverables from Rhodia as part of their newly signed global co-marketing and development agreement, where Rhodia will actively develop and commercialize new material technology optimized for the MuCell® process, and where Trexel will work exclusively with Rhodia for polyamide applications. These new resins will be available in industrial quantities during the third quarter of 2006. However, they are available immediately in trial quantities.

Rhodia Polyamide announces worldwide price rises for its Polyamide 66 Intermediates and Stabamid® Polymer Range
Paris, France: May 22, 2006 – In response to current market forces, Rhodia Polyamide announces price increases effective June 1st, 2006 of 150 € / MT in Europe, 150 US$ / MT in Asia and Latin America and 10 cents per pound (lb) in North America for its Polyamide 66 Intermediates and STABAMID® range of polymers.

Rhodia Polyamide announces price rise for its TECHNYL® Polyamide compounds
Paris, France: April 28, 2006 – Rhodia Polyamide announces a price increase of 200 € / MT for its TECHNYL® Polyamide compounds in Europe effective May 15th, 2006. This necessary price adjustment falls in line with the pricing policy led by Rhodia to compensate for the recurring rise in raw materials, energy and transport costs.

Rhodia constructs new Polymerization Unit in South Korea
Paris, April 19 2006 – Rhodia has announced the construction of a polymerization unit on its integrated production platform in Onsan (South Korea). With an annual capacity of 48,000 tonnes, the unit will start polyamide production at the end of 2007. The new unit, representing an investment of almost euro 40 million, is aimed at further strengthening Rhodia’s market position. Rhodia is the world’s second largest polyamide producer and the front-ranked player in the Asian polyamide 6.6 market.

STABAMID® prices will rise in Europe by 100 € / MT and in Asia by 120 USD / MT. This necessary price adjustment results from the unprecedented high level of costs for energy, particularly gas, as well as for raw materials such as Benzene, Cyclohexane and Ammoniac.

Lyon, France, January 4, 2006 – Rhodia Polyamide has announced a price rise for Adipic Acid effective immediately. The new price reflects an increase of 130 € / MT in Europe and 150 USD / MT in Asia. Underlying this need for price adjustment is the unprecedented rise in the costs of energy, particularly gas, and raw materials such as Benzene, Cyclohexane and Ammoniac.
