Lyon, France – September 3 , 2007 – Rhodia announced today that the construction of its new 48kt Polyamide 6.6 salt and polymerization plant in Onsan, South Korea is on schedule and that plant start-up is set for early December 2007.

Rhodia Polyamide announces a price increase for Adipic acid in Asia
Lyon, France – July 30, 2007 – Rhodia Polyamide announces a 150 USD/MT price increase effective August 1st, 2007 or as contracts allow for Adipic acid in response to a high raw materials, energy costs and a worldwide strengthening demand. Lyon, France – June 6, 2007 – At Kunststoff 2007, Rhodia Polyamide will present its TECHNYL® XCell 6,6 and 6 polyamide grades optimised for use with Trexel’s MuCell® process. These new grades are the first technology deliverables from Rhodia as part of its recently signed global co-marketing and development agreement with Trexel Inc. As partners to the agreement, Rhodia actively develops and commercialises new material technology optimised for the MuCell® process, and Trexel works exclusively with Rhodia for polyamide applications.
