Rhodia Engineering Plastics signs a distribution agreement
Lyon, France, June 23, 2003 - Rhodia Engineering Plastics today announced that it has signed a European distribution agreement for its Technyl® 6 and 6.6 engineering plastics polyamides.
According to Jean-Claude Steinmetz, CEO of Rhodia Engineering Plastics, “Our customers in the automotive and electrical industries have experienced rapid expansion and global growth. This requires the sales force at Rhodia Engineering Plastics to focus more closely on market development projects so that we give maximum support to all our direct customers.
Custom tailored engineering plastics polyamides have been the key success factor in Rhodia Engineering Plastics’ strong acceptance in many markets. “This new, strong, high performance distribution network will boost our service to all size of customers customers, both in terms of products and technical support,” says Steinmetz. “In fact, our agreement with Ashland gives us a well-developed European Distributor with a lot of expertise in Engineering Plastics.
