Rhodia Polyamide announces worldwide price rises for its Polyamide 66 Intermediates and Stabamid® Polymer Range
Paris, France: May 22, 2006 – In response to current market forces, Rhodia Polyamide announces price increases effective June 1st, 2006 of 150 € / MT in Europe, 150 US$ / MT in Asia and Latin America and 10 cents per pound (lb) in North America for its Polyamide 66 Intermediates and STABAMID® range of polymers.
This necessary price adjustment falls in line with the pricing policy led by Rhodia to compensate for the significant and recurring rise in raw materials, energy and transport costs.
