Rohm and Haas Names Five Vice Presidents in APR

Shanghai China, November 26, 2007 – Rohm and Haas Company named five Vice Presidents in its Asia Pacific Region to boost the realization of the company’s strategic plan “Vision 2010” in which Asia is playing an increasingly important role. Each of the individuals is a member of the company’s global Leadership Council.

The Five New Vice Presidents are:

Mr. Harish Badami; Vice President, President and Managing Director, India

Mr. Robert Ferguson; Vice President, Global Business Unit Director, Circuit Board Technologies

Mr. Bruce Hoechner; Vice President, General Manager, Paint and Coatings Materials (outside India)

Ms. Joan Schuller; Vice,President, General Manager, Packaging and Building Materials, Asia-Pacific (outside India)

Mr. Dominic Yang; Vice President, Global Business Unit Director, Microelectronic Technologies

In late 2006, Rohm and Haas announced its strategic plan –Vision 2010 - which was the outcome of an extensive analysis of the company performance, portfolio, competitive environment and business opportunities. Focusing on organic growth, the 2010 Vision targets its Asia-Pacific sales to grow from $1.6billion in 2006 to $3.2billion in 2010.
