Toyota First to Industry with Plasma-coated Polycarbonate Rear Quarter Window

Innovations by SABIC to minimize food wastage, reduce weight, and lower carbon footprint of packaging materials
Sittard, The Netherlands, June 21, 2016 - Today, an estimated one-third of food produced for human consumption is lost or wasted, equivalent to 1.3 billion tons of food every year, according to the Save Food report by the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. Even in the most developed supply chain systems such as those in Europe, 4% of transported goods are damaged in some shape or form due to low pallet stability. A growing consumer focus on convenience and sustainability will also drive continuous changes and innovation in packaging.

SABIC certified as ‘Top Employer Europe 2016’ for third consecutive year
