SABIC Innovative Plastics Names Marco Dalmino Country Manager, Italy
MILAN, Italy – August 26, 2008 – SABIC Innovative Plastics has appointed Marco Dalmino to country manager, Italy, where he is responsible for all commercial activities in the region.
“Italy is an important region for SABIC Innovative Plastics, with major companies operating in the automotive, lighting, electrical and appliances segments", said Dalmino. “We have built a strong reputation with our customers based on our innovation and advanced technology excellence, combined with great talents in the commercial, marketing and technical organizations. I’m thrilled to lead such a strong and experienced team.”
Marco joins SABIC Innovative Plastics following an impressive 14 year career at Momentive Performance Materials – formerly GE Bayer Silicones – and with Bayer prior to that.
While at Momentive, Dalmino served as commercial director, Silicone Fluids, EMEA. Earlier, he held various commercial positions including European sales manager, Personal Care; product manager, Core Fluids, EMEA; and account manager Elastomers, Italy and South East Europe at Bayer.
He holds a master’s degree in political science from the Universita’ Degli Studi di Milano.
