Songwon announces global price increases for its range of Plastic Additives

Ulsan, Korea – May 19, 2011 – Songwon Industrial, a leading developer and manufacturer of polymer additives, will increase global prices of its Songnox® antioxidants, Songlight® and Songsorb® UV stabilizers, Songstab™ acid scavengers as well as of its range of aminic antioxidants between 15 and 20% effective on orders invoiced on or after June 1, 2011, or as contracts allow. This price increase is necessary to recover raw material cost increases and support continued investment in reliable supply.

Songwon appoints Bodo Möller Chimica Italia Srl. as new distribution partner for Italy

Ulsan, Korea – March 28, 2011 – Songwon, a global leader in the manufacture and delivery of additives for the plastics industry, and Bodo Möller Chimica Italia Srl., have entered into a distribution agreement for the market development and sales of the Songwon portfolio of products in Italy. Songwon announces global price increases for its range of Thioester Antioxidants

Ulsan, Korea – March 23, 2011 – Songwon Industrial, a leading developer and manufacturer of polymer additives, will increase global prices for its range of Songnox® Thioester Antioxidants - Songnox® DSTDP, Songnox® DLTDP, and Songnox® DTDTP. The increases will range between 10 to 25% effective on orders received on or after March 27, 2011, or as contracts allow.

Songwon Group announces a positive performance for Q3 2010

• Songwon’s Q3 2010 results continued on a positive trend. Songwon Group achieved a net profit of 7.23 Billion KRW for Q3 2010 and a net profit of 20.54 Billion KRW for the first nine months of 2010.
