Songwon announces completion of One Pack Systems capacity increase at its facility in Greiz, Germany
Ulsan, Korea - October 4, 2012 - Today, Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. has announced it has completed the capacity expansion of its OPS (One Pack Systems) production facility in Greiz, Germany. The capacity expansion project was completed on time, and doubles the current production capacity of Songnox® OPS products from 7.000 metric tons to 14.000 metric tons.

Songwon announces expansion of DOTO manufacturing capacity
Ulsan, Korea - September 28, 2012 - Songwon Industrial Group is announcing the expansion of DOTO (Di-n-Octyltin Oxide) production capacity by 60% at its Ulsan (Korea) manufacturing facility with the project completion expected mid 2013. The new DOTO capacity will come at the expense of a reduction in DBTO (Di-n-Butyltin Oxide) capacity. Beyond the current project, Songwon is planning additional DOTO capacity to support future market needs.

Songwon to cease production of Tin Agrochemicals Songcat™ FENBUTAN and Songcat™ CYTIN
Ulsan, Korea - September 27, 2012 - Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. will discontinue the manufacture of Tin Agrochemicals at its Ulsan (Korea) facility from January 1, 2013 onwards. The products affected will be raw materials used in the production of Organotin Agrochemicals that prevent disease of mites on apples, pears, grapes and oranges, vegetables and other crops.

Songwon to present paper on High Heat, Low Emission Stabilizers at Innoplast Conference in Las Vegas
Ulsan, Korea - September 20, 2012 - At the upcoming InnoPlast Conference "Plastics Modification Technologies via Additives, Compounding, Coatings & Processing", Songwon will present a paper entitled "Substantial Improvements in the Thermal Stability of Thick-Section PP Parts using a Low Emissions Stabilizer". The conference will take place in Las Vegas, USA, from October 17 - 19.

Songwon announces global price increases for its range of Plastic Additives
Ulsan, Korea – April 27, 2012 – Songwon Industrial Group, a leading developer and manufacturer of polymer additives, will increase global prices of its Songnox® Antioxidants, Songlight® and Songsorb® UV Stabilizers, Songstab™ Acid Scavengers as well as of its range of aminic antioxidants by 8% effective on orders invoiced on or after June 1, 2012, or as contracts allow. This price increase is necessary to recover raw material cost increases and support continued investment in reliable supply.
