Songwon appoints KY Lee as Managing Director for Korea and Sales Director for North East Asia

Ulsan, Korea - April 24, 2012 - KY Lee will join the Songwon team as Managing Director (상무, 'sangmoo') for Korea and Sales Director for North East Asia from the 2nd of May, 2012. Songwon Industrial Co. Ltd., the global number two supplier of polymer additives, has created this new key role within their Global Sales and Technical Service organization to reflect the importance of this key region and market.

KY Lee will address the short and medium term business objectives as well as developing a sales strategy for the future based on the dynamic market situation in Korea and North East Asia. Songwon is committed to growth through delivering a broad range of sustainable additive solutions that are compliant with all regional regulator bodies.

KY Lee brings a wealth of top level sales experience in the chemical and polymer industry having held a number of similar postitons, most recently at Honeywell Specialty Materials in Korea and Japan. KY Lee holds Masters and Bachelor degrees in Organic Chemistry and Chemical Engineering as well as having an MBA from the Korea University in Seoul.
