Songwon appoints Doris Peters as Global Director of Marketing and Business Analysis

Ulsan, Korea – January 24, 2013 – Songwon Industrial Group (www.songwon.com) has appointed Doris Peters as Global Director of Marketing and Business Analysis, effective January 1, 2013. As the second largest manufacturer of polymer stabilizers in the world and a leading global supplier of additives and other chemicals to the plastic industry, Songwon is committed to becoming the supplier of choice through delivering better quality, better service and better value. This critical new position will contribute to the company’s determination to continue to deliver products and services that are ‘salient’ to its customers, when and where they need them.

Doris Peters joins Songwon having had key positions at Wacker Chemie AG in Munich, Germany, most recently as Global Business Development Manager for silicones in the solar industry and prior to that as Global Key Account Manager in the automotive industry. Since starting her career more than 15 years ago, Doris has also gained experience in sales and purchasing at Chemtura Corporation and Great Lakes Chemical Corporation. Doris holds a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Applied Sciences in Aachen (Germany), a master degree in Technical Business Management from the Chamber of Commerce Düsseldorf (Germany) and a master degree in Strategic Business Management from the Management Institute St. Gallen (Switzerland).
