Substantial order from China: 165 Cincinnati extruders

Cincinnati Extrusion GmbH, Vienna, Austria, has just received the largest order in its history. Dalian Shide Plastic Industry Co., which has already been a customer of the Austrian machine manufacturer for a number of years, has now ordered 165 new extruders. Dalian Shide plans to extend its production capacity to more than one million tons, and thus to become the world’s number one manufacturer of plastics profiles.

These new extruders will bring up the total number of Cincinnati extruders used by Dalian Shide in PVC profile production to 352. The 165 new machines include 126 conical (Titan 45 and 58) and parallel (Argos 72, 93 and 114) twin screw extruders, plus 39 CE 30 single screw extruders. The single screw extruders will be installed as co extruders on 39 new co extrusion lines to manufacture colored window profiles.

The extruders will be delivered to Shide’s facilities in Dalian and Chengdu, and to a completely new production site in Shanghai. Dalian Shide is a member of one of the largest groups of companies in China - the Shide Group. With the additional production capacity soon available, the company intends to open up new markets for its products, such as Japan and Korea, and also Europe.

Cincinnati Extrusion is confident that the expansion of window profile capacity in China has not yet come to an end with the delivery of this substantial order.
