TE Connectivity participates in sustainable mobility project with Storm Team

DARMSTADT, Germany – January 29, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE) and the Technical University of Eindhoven have a collaboration in developing talent and supporting innovative projects. One of these projects is Team Storm. Team Storm has developed an electric motorcycle to show the world the potential of sustainable mobility, which will be demonstrated in a trip around the world in only 80 days. TE supported Team Storm with connector technologies and relays.

TE Connectivity is a world leader in sensor technologies and connectivity in harsh environments, and is working with the Technical University of Eindhoven to advance mobile sustainability and to work on the future of connectivity. Thomas Schmidt, president of TE Industrial, visited the Den Bosch site to witness the collaboration with the university.

“It is great to see the results of this cooperation with the Technical University of Eindhoven” said Schmidt. “We want to be part of innovative commitments and developing talent that help enable a more connected, more sustainable technological future.”
