TE Connectivity Announces Key Management Appointments at Intercontec
SCHAFFHAUSEN, Switzerland – October 5, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has announced the appointment of Peter Van Loo to the post of general manager, Intercontec, following the completion of its acquisition of the Intercontec Group. Mr Van Loo has 27 years of experience in the fields of Engineering, Operations, Sales and Marketing across multiple locations in Europe and the US. He will take up his new post on 1 October and be based at Intercontec’s main location in Niederwinkling, Germany.
Making the announcement, Craig McDonnell, vice-president and general manager of TE Industrial Automation & Control, said: “With his background and experience, Peter is the right person to lead for the integration of Intercontec into TE Industrial A&C. He will report directly to me and will be a crucial member of the A&C Leadership Team.”
Mr McDonnell added: “The acquisition of Intercontec is a strategic addition for TE Industrial A&C. Intercontec will become our global centre of excellence for circular motor connectivity. We are excited to be offering customers our broadest ever harsh connectivity solutions portfolio and the most comprehensive products, technologies and services within the industry.”
