TE Connectivity to Co-Develop Mini I/O Plug with Amphenol FCI

DARMSTADT, Germany – November 2, 2016 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, will partner with Amphenol FCI in the development of a new mini I/O plug that will provide EMI shielding and CAT6A signal integrity performance that meet future industrial communication standards.

The two companies have already collaborated in the development of the original mini I/O series of plugs, which stand out with their space-saving compact dimension and vibration resistance for industrial environments, ease of use, and durability. These features will be retained in the upgraded version. It will be available with straight and R/A cable outlets.
