TE Connectivity Appoints Pius Arnold as Head of Sales for Intercontec Products

DARMSTADT, Germany – May 10, 2017 – TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has announced the appointment of Pius Arnold as the new Head of Sales for its Intercontec product portfolio within TE's Automation & Control business.

In his role, Pius Arnold is responsible for the direct client and distribution business of Intercontec and leads TE’s Intercontec product portfolio sales team. He reports directly to Intercontec Group’s general manager Peter Van Loo.

Arnold previously worked for 20 years at diverse, internationally operating medium-sized enterprises in marketing and sales leadership roles. His expertise in the automation and connectivity industry is an important asset for the implementation of TE’s strategic growth and crucial for providing TE’s customers with an even more focused customer experience.

TE purchased the Intercontec group of companies in September 2016 to expand its range of solutions for harsh environment applications with Intercontec’s heavy duty connectors. Combining the capabilities of the two companies will accelerate TE’s ability to offer customers some of the most comprehensive products, technologies and services within the industry.
