Atol™ is a technology for the most profitable production of polymer grade bio-ethylene by dehydration of 1G and 2G-renewable ethanol. The bio-ethylene produced can be integrated in existing downstream polymerization installations such as polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS), polyethyleneteraphthalate (PET), polyvinylchloride (PVC) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) without need for modifications.

Total and Wavin contribute to a reliable water supply in South Africa
In Pietermaritzburg, the capital of KwaZulu-Natal province, South Africa, city officials were faced with replacing 2,200 meters of ageing metal water pipes as part of their 10 year plan to fight leakages. To minimize the inconvenience to its inhabitants, the Msunduzi Municipality chose to upgrade the existing inner city water mains without excavation, by bursting1 the old metal pipes and replacing them with Wavin TSDOQ pipes, made from Total XSene XSC50 material.
