Total stelt de nieuwe norm in productiviteit voor meerlaags composietbuizen met XSene XRT 70 HDPE

Het nieuwste hoge dichtheid polyethyleen voor drukbuizen van Total Refining & Chemicals combineert uitstekende verwerkbaarheid met stabiliteit bij hoge temperaturen voor lange tijd en brengt daarmee productieprestaties voor warmwaterbuizen naar een ongekend niveau. XSene XRT 70 belichaamt het beste van Total’s dertig jaar lange ervaring in de ontwikkeling van polyethyleen types voor drukbuizen gebruikt in gas- en waterdistributie.

XSene XRT70 is een PE-RT (PE met verhoogde temperatuurresistentie) Type II HDPE dat wordt geproduceerd met Total’s Advanced Double Loop technologie. Hoge extrusiesnelheden kunnen worden bereikt bij lage verwerkingstemperaturen om zonder smeltbreuk een uitstekende oppervlakteafwerking te garanderen.

Recente industriële producties bij toonaangevende producenten van multilaags composiet buizen (MLCP) hebben duidelijk de voordelen in productiviteit gedemonstreerd die dit polyethyleentype kan bieden. Deze buizen hebben een binnen- en buitenlaag uit PE-RT die een kernlaag uit aluminiumfolie omsluiten.

In Polen heeft Sigma-Li, gevestigd systeemfabrikant voor koud- en warmwaterbuizen, XSene XRT70 gebruikt voor een stabiele productie van 16 mm diameter HDPE-aluminium composietbuizen voor centrale verwarmingssystemen met lijnsnelheden tot 40 m/min. De buizen zijn geproduceerd op de recent geïnstalleerde Battenfeld-Cincinnati uniEX 45-30, een van de meest geavanceerde buisextrusielijnen in Europa. Dezelfde hoge lijnsnelheid is ook bereikt met hetzelfde materiaal in China voor een 20 mm diameter PE-RT buis.

SiGMA-Li has been operating on the market of welded polypropylene systems since 1995, offering a comprehensive SiGMA-Li PP-R system. Sigma-Li has 40% of this market in Poland and makes exports in Eastern Europe.

In 2013, in response to the rapidly growing market of new technologies in the field of central heating, Sigma-Li expanded its offer to a complete surface and radiator central heating system called SiGMA-Li Premium. The pipes are manufactured of PE RT Type II resin and butt-welded aluminium foil.
