UTECH Europe 2009 is organised by Industrial Promotions International of the Netherlands - one of the world’s leading organisers of international niche exhibitions - in partnership with Crain Communications Ltd, the London arm of America’s largest privately held publishing company. Since the first European event in 1986, this partnership has launched and organised regular events for the polyurethane industries in China, Singapore, and Brazil as well as in Europe.

NO CRISIS AT UTECH EUROPE 2009
Maastricht, the Netherlands - Despite the economic uncertainty, the 10th UTECH Europe event, held in Maastricht, from March 31 to April 2, was rated a success, with attendance far exceeding the expectations of all exhibitors. Most of the more than 140 exhibitors made the same point at the end of the event: visitor levels had been well above their predictions, and the quality of those attending was high. In fact, more than 2836 industry professionals from 86 different countries attended the show, including the almost 400 registered delegates for the conference running parallel with the exhibition. The total figure mentioned does not include the more than 1500 passes distributed to exhibitors.

ALL SET FOR UTECH Europe 2009
UTECH Europe 2009 takes place for the second time in MECC Maastricht, The Netherlands on March 31, April 1 and 2, 2009. The event is the largest dedicated polyurethane exhibition and conference in the world and important to anyone with an interest in the international polyurethane industry. Looking at the list of exhibits it is truly all-embracing. There is a very rich diversity of exhibits covering all aspects of the polyurethanes industry, from machinery to chemicals to service companies. The first registrations for the UTECH Europe 2009 conference are rolling in, following the publication of the programme in September, and first signs are that this could be one of the most successful UTECH events since its founding in 1986.

With 5 months still to go, space allocated within the exhibition almost exceeds the total space taken in 2006 and is well on target to match the record-breaking size of the 2006 exhibition. “There is a tremendous mood of enthusiasm,” says Tony Kenter, Managing Director of Industrial Promotions International BV (I.P.I.). “With over 100 companies from all over the world confirmed as exhibitors as well as a number of options, with the likelihood of that being taken up in the coming weeks, UTECH Europe 2009 is set for success.”

UTECH Europe 2006 broke all previous attendees records, as well as attracting over 150 exhibiting companies from around the world and occupied a 10,000 square metre hall.

UTECH Europe 2006: Voor de laatse trends op het gebied van polyurethaan
Van 28 tot en met 30 maart vindt in het MECC te Maastricht de beurs UTECH Europe plaats. UTECH Europe is een internationale beurs voor de polyuretaan industrie. Polyurethaan (PU) is de grondstof voor één van de meest veelzijdige kunststoffen die er bestaat. Zo worden polyurethanen onder andere tot harsen, schuimen, elastomeren, kitten, lijmen en lakken verwerkt. Schoenzolen, autozittingen en de isolatie van een koelkast – overal zit polyurethaan in.
