UTECH Europe 2006: First Point of Call for latest Polyurethane Industry Trends

Product designers, specifiers and other key decision makers keen to keep right up-to-date with the latest advances in polyurethanes materials, processing equipment and techniques, should be sure not to miss the world’s No.1 polyurethanes forum: UTECH Europe to be held 28-30 March 2006 in Maastricht, Holland.

Set to be the biggest exhibition in the show’s twenty-year history, attracting more than 130 exhibitors from leading PU industry players such as Shell, Bayer, BASF/Elastogran, Huntsman, Arkema, Dow Europe, Baulé, Solvay Fluor, Degussa/Goldschmidt, Chemtura, Air Products and Chemicals, Resol and Tosoh, UTECH Europe 2006 promises to be the top source of new information on PU trends for commercial and technical specialists from all the end-use industries, including automotive, medical, textile, building and construction, transport and general engineering.

In addition, visitors to the 2006 forum will have the opportunity to meet and do business with companies from the increasingly influential regions of China and South-East Europe. The only MDI manufacturer in China, Yantai Wanhua Polyurethane Co. Ltd, and leading regional chemical major Romania-based OLTCHIM, have already committed to exhibiting at UTECH Europe 2006 in Holland.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend the three-day UTECH Europe conference, organised by Crain Communications Ltd, which runs alongside the exhibition.

The conference programme and registration details can be downloaded from www.utech-2006.com.

In recognition of the growth in UTECH’s following and its position as the world’s leading meeting forum for players in the polyurethanes business, the world-class, ultra-modern Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre (MECC) in the southern part of Holland has been selected to host the triennial industry event for the first time.

Ideally situated at the heart of Europe, the MECC provides the perfect focal point for exhibitors and delegates from around the world. A stone’s throw from the centre of the historic, medieval city of Maastricht, the MECC is easily accessible by road, air and rail. The city has its own airport and is within one hour’s drive of three international airports – Brussels, Cologne and Düsseldorf. Free shuttle buses will link the venue with Brussels International Airport during the event.

Opening hours for UTECH Europe 2006 are:

Tuesday 28 March 09.30-18.00hrs

Wednesday 29 March 09.30-18.00 hrs

Thursday 30 March 09.30 - 17.00 hrs
