Univar appointed by Perstorp Oxo AB for new product introduction in Italy

Univar S.p.A., a member company of Univar N.V., one of the world’s leading independent distributors of industrial chemicals and providers of related specialty services, has been appointed sole distributor of Perstorp Oxo’s NX 795 coalescent agent throughout Italy.

NX 795 is a liquid coalescing aid in promoting film formation in a variety of water-based latex paint formulations. These include homopolymers and copolymers of acrylic and polyvinyl acetate latexes. NX 795 is effective even when paint is applied to porous surfaces and it can help extend the application temperature range in many latex paint formulations.

Univar Italy has worked with Perstorp on since 2000 when it acquired Neste Chemicals for whom Univar had previously handled distribution activities.
