Victrex appoints new distributor in Ireland
Victrex Europa GmbH has appointed Dell Polymers Ltd as its distributor for all VICTREX PEEK™ polymer (polyaryletherketone) materials in Ireland.
Effective 1 October 2001, the distribution agreement covers the sales and all service aspects of the high performance VICTREX PEEK™ polymer in both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Based in Longford, County Longford, Dell Polymers is already a specialised distributor of engineering and performance plastics to the market in Ireland. From its headquarters in Hofheim, Germany, VICTREX will provide full market development and technical services support to Dell Polymers.
The combination of technical skills and market knowledge provided by the two companies is expected to lead to rapid development of the market for PEEK™ polymer in Ireland and Northern Ireland, particularly in key markets such as the medical and electronics business sectors. In addition, there will be improved service to existing processors and users of the high performance thermoplastic polymer.
