Victrex launches new-look multi-lingual website at www.victrex.com
On January 21st 2002, Victrex plc. launched its new-look multi-lingual website at www.victrex.com. The website has been designed to support Victrex and PEEK™ polymer operations globally, with focused regional content in local languages. In addition to improving the site layout, Victrex has focused on making it as easy as possible for customers to access information and technical support for its range of PEEK™ polymers.
“With its user-friendly interface, the new site offers more effective website navigation, says John Cafferty”, Victrex IT-Manager. The site currently provides PEEK™ product and application information, technical support and worldwide sales and distribution contacts in English (UK and USA) French and German. An updated Japanese version, Italian, Korean, and Chinese versions are in production and will be launched in the near future.”
Registered visitors to the site can download the very latest technical data and industry-specific literature, and can access advanced technical support via the “Ask The Expert” and “Getting Your Project Started” links. Furthermore, to facilitate a smooth launch with minimal disruption for registered users, re-registration to the new site will not be necessary. Currently registered users are requested to simply verify their details. Registration for new contacts has been simplified through the use of their e-mail address as the login.
The new site was designed not only to be provide quick and easy access for users, but also to be easily maintained and continuously updated by Victrex. “To ensure the site meets the needs and wants of users, Victrex is welcoming customer feedback in support of the ongoing evolution and continuous improvement of the site”, adds Suzanne Clayton, Marketing Communications Manager.
