Continued growth in Victrex® PEEK™ polymer application development reflected at Fakuma 2002
Victrex Europa GmbH, will be exhibiting at Fakuma 2002 , Friedrichshafen, on stand no. 2060, hall A2, 15 to 19 October 2002.
At Fakuma 2002 Victrex will showcase its recently introduced Victrex® PEEK-HT™ polymer for extreme heat applications. With a glass transition temperature of 157°C and --*a melting temperature of 374°C, Victrex® PEEK-HT™ polymer extends the high temperature performance of the company’s natural PEEK™ polymer. Available in powder or granules, this latest addition to the Victrex® PEEK™ portfolio also offers the polymer’s inherent exceptional toughness, strength, chemical resistance and low flammability.
The development of Victrex® PEEK-HT™ polymer offers manufacturers unique opportunities to maximize the performance and the value of a wide variety of applications for extreme environments. These include automotive under-the-bonnet components, aircraft exterior and interior parts, wire and cable insulation, industrial valve linings and heat exchanger parts”.
