NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR AT QUADRANT CMS
TIELT, BELGIUM – June 13th, 2006 – Effective 1st June 2006, Peter van Damme (51) has assumed the role of Managing Director/CEO and becomes a Member of the Board of Directors at Quadrant CMS (Creative Moulding Systems), the Injection Moulding Division of the Quadrant Group. He succeeds Fernand Vandaele (61), who will remain as President of the Board of Directors at the company before retiring on 1 April 2007. Over the course of 35 years, Vandaele has held a number of senior management positions at the formerly family owned business ERTA, which was acquired by DSM in 1977 and has been part of Quadrant AG Holding since 2001. Over the next year Vandaele will focus largely on Quadrant CMS’s recently established subsidiary in Hungary. After his retirement in 2007 he will remain active as consultant.

NEW DYNEEMA® HB26 FOR BEST LIGHT WEIGHT HARD BALLISTIC PROTECTION PERFORMANCE

Flammwidrige flexible Noryl*-Kunststoffe von GE jetzt nach UL1581 als zulässiges Kabelummantelungsmaterial für 80 °C-, 90 °C- & 105 °C-Anwendungen anerkannt
BERGEN OP ZOOM, NIEDERLANDE – 14. november 2006 - GE Plastics gibt bekannt, dass verschiedene Materialgüten seines flammwidrigen flexiblen Noryl*-Kunststoffs für Kabelummantelung und Isolierung von den Underwriters Laboratories (UL) in die Referenznorm UL1581 für elektrische Leitungen, Kabel und flexible Leitungsschnüre bis zu einer maximalen Nenntemperatur von 105 °C aufgenommen worden sind. Daraus resultierend müssen die vorgeschlagenen Leiter- und Kabelprodukte, welche die flexiblen Noryl-Hochleistungskunststoffe enthalten, nur einem kurzfristigen Alterungstest anstatt eines Langzeitalterungstests über 150 Tage unterzogen werden, wodurch sich die Zeitspanne bis zur Markteinführung verkürzt. Die neuen GE-Materialien haben sich bereits in der Automobil- und Verbraucherelektronikbranche bewährt. Mit dieser neuen UL-Zertifizierung sind sie hervorragend für schnelles Wachstum auf dem Geräteverkabelungssektor positioniert.
