Borealis und Ashland Distribution feiern den Erfolg ihrer 10-jährigen Partnerschaft im Vertrieb der von Borealis produzierten Polypropylene (PP) und Polyethylene (PE) in Europa. Diese erste europaweite Partnerschaft für die Distribution von Polyolefinen ermöglicht die kurzfristige Belieferung von kleineren und mittelgroßen Kunden mit Produkten von Borealis über ein örtliches Vertriebslager.

MicroMax-Verstärkungsfasern ermöglichen eine um bis zu 40 Prozent reduzierte Wandstärke gegenüber Bauteilen mit Standardglasfaserverstärkung. Distrupol, ENGEL and STV make multi-component moulding easy
Distrupol, ENGEL and STV will unravel the complexities of multi-component injection moulding at the forthcoming ENGEL Moulders’ Group Technology Event, Wednesday 15th November 2006 in Warwick, UK.
This free-of-charge morning seminar, to be repeated in the afternoon, will feature presentations and practical demonstrations to help the moulders to get to grips with multi-component moulding. There will be particular focus on the use of the Babyplast bolt-on injection unit as a low cost, flexible alternative for achieving 2K injection moulding on standard and existing machinery.

BOSTON, Mass., Oct. 16, 2006 – DSM, a Netherlands-based company active worldwide in performance materials, announced today it is introducing its newest and strongest ballistic material for soft body armor. The new Dyneema® SB61 offers ultra-high energy absorption to provide significantly increased stopping power, as well as the same high level of trauma reduction and aging behavior as other Dyneema® soft ballistic products. The announcement was made at the 2006 International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) conference in Boston.
