QUADRANT CMS ENTWICKELT BEIFAHRER-AIRBAGGEHÄUSE FÜR NEUEN FIAT 500
TIELT, BELGIEN – Oktober 2007 – In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kfz-Systemzulieferer Autoliv hat die im belgischen Tielt ansässige Quadrant CMS (Creative Moulding & Systems) ein polymeres Beifahrer-Airbaggehäuse für den neuen Fiat 500 entwickelt. Das Fahrzeug wurde im Mai 2007 eingeführt, unmittelbar vor dem 50-jährigen Jubiläum des ersten Vorgängermodells aus dem Jahr 1957. Das Airbaggehäuse wird aus einem schlagzäh modifizierten Material von DSM - Akulon® PA6 mit 40 % Glasfaserverstärkung - spritzgegossen.
