Suggar’s Toplader-Waschmaschinen überstrahlen Konkurrenzprodukte durch elegante, transparente Klappen aus Polypropylen dank Milliken’s Millad® NX8000
Milliken Chemical von Milliken & Company gab heute bekannt, dass Suggar, ein führender brasilianischer Hersteller von Haushaltsgeräten, der täglich 2.500 Waschmaschinen produziert, mit Millad® NX8000 modifiziertes Polypropylen (PP) verwendet, um Styrol-Acrylnitril (SAN) bei drei seiner beliebtesten Waschmaschinenmodelle zu ersetzen: der Top Max 5.0, der Viva, und der Viva Max 6.0. Durch die Verwendung von mit Millad NX8000 modifziertem PP für die Topladerklappen werden diese so klar wie nie zuvor. Damit bietet Suggar die von den Kunden gewünschte Transparenz und verbessert gleichzeitig die Schlagfestigkeit und damit die Haltbarkeit der Klappen. Die Kosten für transparentes PP sind aufgrund der geringeren Dichte dabei nicht höher als für SAN.

The newly refurbished and upgraded laboratory is located at Chemtura’s European manufacturing plant in Latina, Italy, where it produces Adiprene®, Vibrathane® & Ribbon Flow® TDI and MDI prepolymers, Adiprene® Low Free TDI prepolymers and Vibracure® curatives.

CHEMTURA TO INCREASE WESTON®, MARK®, AND NAUGARD® PHOSPHITE PRICES
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price of Weston®, Mark®, and Naugard® phosphite antioxidants and stabilizers by $0.40-$0.60/kg, effective for all deliveries on or after June 10, 2008, or as contracts allow. The price increase is necessary to recover the unprecedented increases in the costs of phosphorus-based chemicals.

Der zentrale Anlass für seine Gründung ist der wachsende Bedarf an behördlicherseits eingesetzten biometrischen Lösungen in Europa. Der Fokus der neuen Abteilung besteht darin, vom Hauptstandort Düsseldorf und den Niederlassungen in London und Amsterdam aus sowie in Zusammenarbeit mit NEC-Töchtern, Partnern und Kunden für die Bereitstellung biometrischer Systeme in ganz Europa zu sorgen.
