NEUER REAKTIONSEXTRUDER VON DSM ELASTOMERS ZUR KOMMERZIELLEN PRODUKTION VON MOTORÖLADDITIVEN IN BETRIEB
Heerlen, Niederlande, 9. Oktober 2008 – Nach mehreren Monaten erfolgreicher Tests ist die neue Reaktionextruderlinie (REX) von DSM Elastomers zur Produktion innovativer EP(D)M-Hochleistungstypen in voller Kapazität betriebsbereit. Die Produkte sind ab sofort lieferbar. REX ist komplett in die Fertigungsstätte Triunfo von DSM Elastomers in Brasilien integriert. Die Anlage basiert auf modernster Technologie für die reaktive Extrusion.

Momentive Performance Materials Inc. (the “Company”) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Momentive Performance Materials Quartz, Inc., has acquired certain assets of the semiconductor and lighting quartz products business of Osram Sylvania Products Inc. (“OSPI”), including manufacturing equipment, inventory, intellectual property and customer lists. OSPI is a wholly-owned subsidiary of OSRAM Sylvania Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
