New appointment at Azelis
Today, Azelis reports the appointment of Blair Illingworth as President and Director European Operations, effective May 21st. With a wealth of experience, Blair has held a number of roles as CEO in both manufacturing and distribution businesses mostly in the building materials sector, the last of which was as CEO of a subsidiary of AngloAmerican Plc (Tarmac Building Product Ltd).

SABIC investiert in Indien in die Produktionskapazität der mehrwandigen Lexan* Platten, um die Kunden besser mit fortschrittlichen Bedachungs- und Verglasungsmaterialien zu versorgen
CHENNAI, Indien – 25. Mai 2012 – Heute hat die Geschäftseinheit Innovative Plastics von SABIC auf der Roof India mit ihrer Ankündigung der Erhöhung der Investitionen in Indien einmal mehr gezeigt, wie das Unternehmen den langfristigen kommerziellen Erfolg seiner Kunden vorantreibt. Das Unternehmen wird in seiner indischen Produktionsstätte in Vadodara eine moderne Fertigungsstraße für die Herstellung von mehrwandigen Lexan* Platten eröffnen, um seinen Kunden im Land und in Asien eine schnelle und zuverlässige Bezugsquelle für diese leistungsstarken Materialien zu bieten. Mit dieser neuen Fertigungsstraße kann SABIC der steigenden Kundennachfrage in der Region nach mehrwandigen Lexan Thermoclear* Polycarbonat (PC) Platten für Bedachungs- und Verglasungsanwendungen im Bausektor sowie für die Gewächshausherstellung nachkommen.

Schneller und sicherer Internetzugang
Der Signalübertragunsspezialist Belden entwickelt und produziert am Standort Neckartenzlingen Netzwerkgeräte und Steckverbinder der Marke Hirschmann™, die überall dort eingesetzt werden, wo es auf eine ausfallsichere Datenkommunikation ankommt. Beispiele dafür sind Fabriken, Raffinerien, Windenergieanlagen, Autobahntunnel oder Züge. Gut ausgebildete Mitarbeiter bilden den Schlüssel für den Erfolg. Deshalb setzt das Unternehmen auf eine qualifizierte Berufsausbildung und arbeitet dabei eng mit den Schulen in der Region zusammen. So wurde im September 2011 mit der Realschule Neckartenzlingen eine Bildungspartnerschaft geschlossen, die den Schülerinnen und Schülern den Einstieg in das Berufsleben erleichtern soll. Im Zuge dieser Partnerschaft überreichte Geschäftsführer Wolfgang Schenk am 24. Mai dieses Jahres Realschulrektor Achim-Götz Sippel und der Schulleiterin des Gymnasiums Neckartenzlingen Barbara Teufel-Krischke einen sogenannte Backbone-Switch im Wert von circa 8500 Euro, der den Schülerinnen und Schülern künftig einen schnellen und sicheren Zugang ins Internet ermöglicht.

DSM has been awarded the Executive Order (EO) for Akulon® Fuel Lock FL40-HP, a blow moldable, polyamide 6-based mono-material. This award, granted by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), certifies that the material meets the low permeation of hydrocarbons requirements for small, off-road engine fuel tanks.

MOOG WINS CONTRACT TO SUPPLY NAREC WITH A TEST SYSTEM TO EVALUATE 100 M WIND TURBINE BLADES
East Aurora, NY, USA, May 23, 2012 - Moog Industrial Group, a division of Moog Inc.
