Zwei weitere ELIX ABS-3D-Materialien im Ultimaker Marketplace
Tarragona, 19. Juni 2019 – ELIX Polymers, ein führendes Unternehmen für Hochleistungs-ABS-Materialien, hat zwei neue Produkte zum Ultimaker Marketplace für FDM-Anwendungen bei 3D-Druckern hinzugefügt. SABIC continues global LNP anniversary technical summit series in Singapore
SABIC is continuing to hold a series of technical summits in Asia to mark 70 years of its LNP™ product line of engineering thermoplastic compounds and copolymers. After a series of events organized globally over the past few months, including across China and Malaysia, the next summit takes place in Singapore on June 18 and 19. Around 250 delegates, including engineers and designers at ODMs and OEMs, molders and toolmakers from across Southeast Asia, India and Japan, converged on the Park Royal Hotel for a series of presentations, displays, and one-on-one meetings with SABIC experts .

Stéphane Cueille, Senior Executive Vice President R&T and Innovation bei Safran, Dr. Roland Fischer, CEO des Oerlikon Konzerns, Jean-Luc Moullet, Chief Technology Transfer Officer beim französischen Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), und Alain Célérier, Präsident der Universität Limoges, haben eine Absichtserklärung unterzeichnet, in der die Gründung eines gemeinsamen Forschungslabors unter der Bezeichnung PROTHEIS in Limoges und einer Technologieplattform unter der Bezeichnung SAFIR bekannt gegeben wird. Die beiden neu geschaffenen Einrichtungen sind auf Oberflächenbehandlung für Anwendungen in der Luft- und Raumfahrt spezialisiert. An der feierlichen Unterzeichnung nahmen Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Staatssekretärin im französischen Ministerium für Wirtschaft und Finanzen mit Zuständigkeit für Innovation, und Alain Rousset, Präsident der Region Nouvelle-Aquitaine in Südwestfrankreich, teil.

Henkel and RLE International demonstrate the lightweighting potential in hybrid automotive body parts
In a comprehensive joint study, Henkel and RLE International have examined and validated the potential of high-performance structural foam for lightweighting in automotive body and closure parts. The study has revealed that fiber reinforced polymer components with structural foam ribbing and reinforcements can save more than 40 kg of weight per car vs. conventional all-metal designs.
