Successful startup of world’s largest dehydrogenation plant using Clariant’s CATOFIN® catalyst technology
Clariant announced the successful startup of its CATOFIN catalyst at Hengli Group’s new mixed-feed dehydrogenation plant in Dalian, China. The new unit combines propane dehydrogenation (PDH) with iso-butane dehydrogenation (BDH) process technologies, and it will produce over 1 million tons of olefins per year -- becoming the world’s largest plant using CATOFIN catalyst technology.

DOMO Chemicals unterzeichnet Vereinbarung zum Erwerb des europäischen Performance-Polyamid-Geschäfts von Solvay
DOMO Chemicals und Solvay haben heute eine Vereinbarung zur Übernahme des europäischen Performance-Polyamid-Geschäfts von Solvay unterzeichnet. Die Vereinbarung umfasst die Bereiche Engineering Plastics in Frankreich und Polen, High Performance Fibers in Frankreich, Polymer- und Zwischenprodukte in Frankreich, Spanien und Polen. Die Vereinbarung beinhaltet auch ein Joint Venture zwischen BASF und DOMO in Frankreich zur Herstellung von Adipinsäure.

TE Connectivity introduces new PR115 silver and white thermally printable 50-micron polyester rating label
TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has introduced new self-adhesive polyester rating labels, PR115. These custom-designed labels have UL969 category PGJI2 file MH29684 approval, which means that they can be printed by end-use product manufacturers using thermal transfer equipment.
