Ökobilanz von Mondis Papier für das Umwickeln von Paletten zeigt geringere Klimabelastung
Mondi, ein weltweit führendes Verpackungs- und Papierunternehmen, hat eine Ökobilanz in Auftrag gegeben, in der seine neue bahnbrechende Innovation für das Umwickeln von Paletten, das Advantage StretchWrap-Papier, mit konventioneller Kunststoff-Stretchfolie verglichen wird. Die vollständige Studie wurde von einem externen Beratungsunternehmen durchgeführt, ist ISO-konform und beinhaltet eine externe kritische Prüfung. Ausgehend von der Annahme, dass beide Materialien am Ende des Lebenszyklus recycelt werden, zeigten die Ergebnisse, dass Mondi‘s papierbasierte Lösung zum Umwickeln von Paletten als einer der Ökobilanzindikatoren eine geringere Klimawirkung hat.
