Perstorp has set Science Based Targets in line with Paris Agreement
Perstorp Group greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been approved by the Science Based Targets initiative, meaning they are consistent with levels required to meet the goals of the 2015 Paris Agreement. The targets covering greenhouse gas emissions from Perstorp’s operations (Scopes 1 and 2*) are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5°C, the most ambitious goal of the Paris Agreement.

GE Aviation invests in five M Line metal additive production systems
GE Aviation is acquiring five GE Additive Concept Laser M Line systems. The first four M Line systems will be installed at GE Aviation’s Additive Technology Center (ATC) in West Chester, Ohio during 2022. A fifth M Line system will be installed at Avio Aero’s Turin site in Italy to support serial production of additive components for the GE Catalyst turboprop engine during 2022.

Mondi & Henkel bringen gemeinsam einen vollständig recycelbaren Monomaterial-Nachfüllbeutel für Pril auf den Markt
Mondi, ein weltweit führendes Verpackungs- und Papierunternehmen, und Henkel helfen Konsumenten, ihr Geschirr nachhaltiger zu spülen, indem sie ein komplett wiederverwendbares Verpackungskonzept erstellen. Die beiden Unternehmen arbeiteten gemeinsam an einer Verpackungslösung für Handgeschirrspülmittel von Henkel, die das Nachfüllen von Kunststoffflaschen aus flexiblen Standbodenbeuteln ermöglicht. Dies unterstützt die Nachhaltigkeitsziele von Henkel, 100 % seiner Verpackungen recycelbar oder wiederverwendbar zu machen und 50 % des fossilen Neukunststoffs bis 2025 zu reduzieren.

Clariant stellt heute ihre neuen 100% biobasierten Vita Tenside und Polyethylenglycole (PEGs) vor, um das nachhaltige Produktsortiment weiter zu verstärken. Als unmittelbarer Beitrag zum Klimaschutz helfen die Vita Produkte, fossilen Kohlenstoff in der Wertschöpfungskette durch Kohlenstoff aus erneuerbaren Quellen zu substituieren.
