Clariant schliesst Akquisition des Attapulgit-Geschäfts der BASF in den USA ab
Clariant, ein fokussiertes, nachhaltiges und innovatives Spezialchemieunternehmen, gibt heute bekannt, dass sie die Akquisition des Attapulgit-Geschäfts der BASF in den USA für 60 Millionen USD in bar abgeschlossen hat. Die als Asset Deal strukturierte Transaktion beinhaltet die Übertragung von Land sowie von Abbaurechten, der Verarbeitungsanlage sowie der Lagerbestände, die in das Functional-Minerals-Geschäft von Clariant integriert werden. Die abgeschlossene Transaktion beinhaltet darüber hinaus eine Vereinbarung über die langfristige Lieferung von Attapulgit-basierten Produkten an BASF. Die Transaktion wird das EBITDA-Margenprofil von Clariants Geschäftsbereich Natural Resources verbessern und unterstützt das Unternehmen gleichzeitig bei der Erreichung seiner Ziele für 2025.
