Clariant, ein auf Nachhaltigkeit fokussiertes Spezialchemieunternehmen, hat heute bekannt gegeben, dass sie die Übernahme von Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, einem führenden Anbieter hochwertiger Inhaltsstoffe für die Kosmetik- und Körperpflegeindustrie, von International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF) vereinbart hat. Der Kaufpreis beträgt insgesamt 810 Millionen USD (~ 720 Millionen CHF), ohne Barmittel und Schulden. Dies entspricht einem Unternehmenswert (EV) / berichteten EBITDA-Multiple (bezogen auf die letzten 12 Monate bis August 2023) von 16.3x. Die beabsichtigte Transaktion steht unter Vorbehalt der behördlichen Genehmigungen sowie der üblichen Abschlussbedingungen und wird voraussichtlich im ersten Quartal 2024 abgeschlossen sein.
