Dabei konnten sämtliche Vorgaben der Europäischen Norm für Bahnanwendungen DIN EN 45545-2 erfüllt werden. Über ihre Brandschutzeignung hinaus verfügen TPE der FR3-Reihe über weitere Materialeigenschaften, die sie für Anwendungen im anspruchsvollen Umfeld prädestinieren, z. B. sehr gute Druckverformungsrestwerte und eine verbesserte Weiterreißfestigkeit. Da stromführende Kabel häufig mit Mehrkomponenten-Kunststoffteilen verbaut werden, zählen eine ausgezeichnete PP-Haftung und Verarbeitung in standardmäßigen Spritzguss- und Extrusionsverfahren dazu.
